Related Therapy Services
School-Based Related Therapy Services Professionals work with children in grades K-12 with disabilities and cognitive, social communication, language, and other health-related issues. They support and assist with movement, hearing, sight, and more.
These related services professionals help children participate in academic settings and improve their communication, social, emotional, speaking, and listening skills. They collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff to evaluate students, plan individualized learning programs, and administer related services based on the child’s specific needs.

Related Behavioral Services
School-Based Related Behavioral Services Professionals offer mental and social-emotional support to children in grades K-12. They correspond with other therapists and educators to work with students who are struggling with academic challenges, disabilities and disorders, and behavioral or emotional issues.
Related Behavioral Services Professionals are wellness advocates who equip students with anger management, social, and communication skills. They evaluate students’ progress and determine the best treatment plan to prepare students to develop mental and psychological resilience, resolve academic struggles, and build positive interpersonal relationships within school settings.

Education Services
School-Based Education Services Professionals work with children in grades K-12 to treat mild to severe mental, psychological, learning, or physical disabilities. They identify and assess students’ skills and learning needs, design and administer IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), and plan differentiated learning activities for the classroom.
Education Services Professionals equip students with academic, language, communication, listening, and life skills to transition smoothly into adulthood. They collaborate with parents, counselors, other educators, and administrators to consistently evaluate students’ progress, address their educational needs, and enhance their academic performance.
